The Game

The game of Roulette features a rotating wheel fixed on the roulette table layout. The European wheel has 37 pockets, arranged in a specific order. The numbers are colored alternately black and red, though the zero pocket is green.

The coloring plays a crucial role in roulette betting. Bets are placed on the roulette table, a layout with 36 numbers arranged in 3 columns and 12 rows. At the top of the first row is the 0 (or 00), which provides the house edge. On the left side are the Dozen sections, divided into three parts.

Column Bets

A section with 3 columns next to the number grid represents the column bets. Each covers one column in the number table. Above the dozens section are additional outside bets: 1-18 (low numbers), Even (even numbers), B (black), R (red), Odd (odd numbers), 19-36 (high numbers).
